Re: Christmas Photos
Ok I finally got around to having a quick photo shoot with the kids. Like Anne-Marie, I took lots and only got a few decent ones which I had to crop anyway.
I've converted some to B&W as well which looks quite classic.

Re: Christmas Photos
I'm putting up a heap on my blog this arvo. We had photos with santa today - a DIY santa. Couldn't believe my luck to find a shopping centre with a santa that you just bring along your camera. And because most schools are still in, my kids got almost 15 mins with Santa.... And I got lots of candid shots
Happy me !!!

Re: Christmas Photos
This was a great idea for a thread ladies...thanks for sharing....I actually spent a couple of hours one night (with a drink or two) looking for examples of christmas photos to use with my kids this year. I still havn't done the photos but if only I'd been scrapping the last three months I would have found this thread and saved myself the time.
I just love that one of the kids tied up in the Christmas lights...ours were broken this year when we put the tree up, hopefully they got shoved back in the box and not thrown out yet....I might even tie DH up in them since he was such a smarty pants putting up the tree this year.
Also, I used to do a Christmas shoot at playgroup when my girls were younger. All the mums would contribute to the "scene setting" and then we would spend the session doing our own photo shoots, it meant that we only had to set up one scene and we took our own photos. Plenty of room to move in the playgroup hall as well.
We did one shoot in front of the blackboard wall. During craft the preceding weeks we made bakers hats from crepe paper and aprons from Christmas paper for each child. We wrote a Christmas recipe on the blackboard and put the Christmas tree on one side, and a table on the other with playdough and Christmas cookie cutters. We brushed a little flour on the kids cheeks and let them have turns at the playdough while we snapped away.
Just thought I'd share because it was such a great way to get photos of little kids not just behaving but having FUN!

Hey Kerri, nice to "see" you again
I love your playgroup idea, the kids would have been so busy having fun.
LOL about the xmas lights and tying up your DH. Now THAT would definitely be a pic worth scrapping ROFL
