Re: Challenge Two - July CC
If you can't get around printing a title in reverse, how about printing it as an outline or even as a solid colour and cut it out (ink the edges to hide any messes or outlines lol).
Oh and a tip - the bigger the title, the easier it is to cut

Gee I can't even get to the title part now. I thought I had this layout so under control but now that I've started laying it out. I just hate it....blah...need to rethink before I even title!

i got started on thsi challenge last night. Was a bit worried about the hand cut title bit BUT i did it....lol
I picked a rather straight font to make the hand cuttign a littel easier and then ran it through my cuttlebug to add a little something to it (dot embossing folder)
i was very surprised with how well the hand cut title works...never tried it before but will do it again for sure...its so easy!!!

I really enjoyed the challenge of doing a non-Christmas photo in a Christmas theme/colours. I also use a photo I'd altered in one of the Jessica Sprauge classes, having a whole lot of fun with those.

Wow Amanda, what a fab page.
Well done everyone for having a go at something different for most of us.
Kerry, yell out if you need any more help. What word processing type program do you use?

Re: Challenge Two - July CC
Sorry for not getting back to anyone, I shelved this challenge...again! The photos and title I have had set aside (along with many more) for a couple of years and I never seem to be able to get it to work with any papers or anything. I'ts not the title thing that worries me, I just can't ever get the page to work. The photos are too dark and not "pretty". I want it to look whimisical but don't really know how to create that look. Sorry for blabbing on...I'm just so frustrated at this particular layout. It's not the challenge that's the problem it's me trying to do these particular photos. I thought this challenge was a good chance but not to be. I've moved on to other challenges at the CC though.

Amanda you are on fire with your layouts - all are stunning. LOVE your altered photo. Thats on my list of 'to dos' today, I've watched all the videos, now to put it in practise. I've learnt a bit, some I already knew how to do but the textures and clipping masks are by far my most favourite ideas that I think I will use time and time again from this course. I definately will be looking at signing up to do more from her. She is so easy to understand!
